LOOKING BACK OVER THE YEARS
13th February 2020 – Creative art and music we had a lovely relaxing time, but missed our Porte Rouge friends who very wisely didn’t venture out in the stormy weather.
27th February – Drums4Fun!
12th September – We made, cooked and ate a lot of biscuits!
29th AUGUST – Venue – St Nicolas Church Downderry – 1.45pm Volunteers Meeting. 2.30pm Decisions regarding the programme, lunch, Christmas party and plans for 2020.
15th AUGUST- Venue – St Nicolas Church Downderry – Summer Fair.
1st AUGUST – Venue – St. Nicolas Church Downderry – Sensory afternoon – fruit and vegetables – 21 of us had a lovely afternoon identifying a variety fresh vegetables, fruit and herbs and discussing eating fresh, cooking, preserving and flavouring. Welcome to Julie our new volunteer!
18th July – Lots of funny Poems and a lovely Cream tea with fresh strawberries – a real family atmosphere. Welcome to Lani our new Volunteer!
9th MAY – ‘Drums4Fun’ with Graham Kemp. THIS WAS FANTASTIC WITH 20 GUESTS.
23rd MAY – Lunch at The Smugglers Inn.
6th JUNE – Making Jam Tarts and Quizzies.
20th JUNE – In the garden and the wonder of bees with Mr Graham Bray.
4th JULY – Music from the USA.
Phillip Hugill – Carer and Volunteers Claire Croft and Mike Hartland entertained with songs from the USA to celebrate Independence Day
